(2022)\n to appositely model the\nbeta-valued cytosine-guanine dinucleotide (CpG) sites, to\nobjectively identify methylation state thresholds and to\nidentify the differentially methylated CpG (DMC) sites using a\nmodel-based clustering approach. The family of beta mixture\nmodels employs different parameter constraints applicable to\ndifferent study settings.
